HERE is no truth that Heart Evangelista is a vanishing star. Although, she's under the management of Genesis, Heart's heart is with ABS, for sure. She will have a new project under ABS with a new leading man, Jason Abalos.

She will be seen with Jason in the second season of Your Song (minus Jericho Rosales), in a love triangle with Erich Gonzales. Interestingly, you will see her not only on weekly basis in different stories. This time, it will be done as a monthly special. Looks like Heart and Jason have a good chemistry. So just wait for the airing of this new Heart project. Meantime, her love life is still okay with Jericho . In fact, we hear, too, that Jericho has won Heart's father's trust and confidence already that makes Heart doubly happy these days.

RICHARD, MARIAN ALL-OUT IN THEIR LOVE SCENES

IS it imperative for a Valentine movie to have an intense love story the way film director Mark Reyes wants it to be? So in GMA Films-Regal Entertainment's joint offering, “My Girlfriend's Best Friend,” starring today's hottest personalities, Richard Gutierrez and Marian Rivera, the two lead stars agreed to do an all-out, intensity-filled love story.

Richard's mother, Annabelle Rama, finds Marian a perfect leading lady for his son. Marian, for her part, finds Richard as a thoughtful, perfect gentleman, very handsome and caring. Even if Richard has Jewel Mische as his rumor ka-MU (mutual understanding), there's still the big possibility that Chard and Marian who are both free could fall in love with each other.

According to Regal matriarch Mother Lily Monteverde, this is the best Valentine movie they ever did. It has more ‘kilig' moments, very romantic and has a tandem composed of two big stars of today. “My Bestfriend's Girlfriend (BFGF)” isn't an ordinary love story for the young and adults alike.

Marian admits that she has had three ex-boyfriends already, excluding Mark Herras. She clarifies that she and Mark were never on, although at one point, they were in the MU process already. Something happened along the way, and he dropped his chances.

EFFECTIVE SHOW

“KUNG Ako Ikaw” tonight until Wednesday night will feature three celebrity workers including Angelika dela Cruz, Patricia Ismael and Lovi Poe who will do the task of coffee makers (magkakape).

DISCRIMINATION, BIASES?

THE Department of Trade and Industry filed administrative charges against ABS-CBN regarding the “Wowowee” scam last August 2007.

The public has long been waiting for some reprimand or punishment to teach the perpetrators a lesson. Several days ago, the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas cleared the program of anomalous charges resulting from the fiasco. Why are there different decisions on the case? We don't want to believe that the fact that the current chair of the KBP is a former officer of ABS-CBN has something to do with it. Some have observed too that the KBP seems to have been partial to the Kapamilya network.

GMA7 had been overloaded with cases filed by the KBP years ago without prior notice to the network. Another was the Rosanna Roces suspension for alleged violations compared to Willie Revillame's admission of similar violations of the TV code which did not even get a spank from the KBP.

Is it true these discrimination, biases and affiliations keep the broadcast industry from moving forward?
